The Serious Consequences of Banning Bottled Water

In June 2007, San Francisco captured national news attention when it barred city agencies from buying bottled water. The city of Salt Lake City banned bottled water entirely in the workplace, barring workers from bringing commercially bottled water into work as well as preventing city agencies from buying it. This ban included firefighters.
